Laura Herp 

Laura Herp is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 year’s experience. She works with adults dealing with a wide range of emotional issues, and has worked in various settings including community mental health, University, hospital, home health and intensive outpatient programs. Laura approaches therapy without judgement or opinions about what someone should do but rather as an opportunity to come along side them and be a guide through the storms of their life.

Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Laura seeks to address more than just symptoms but to help people obtain the deep healing they deserve. These two evidenced based modalities are effective when used to treat a wide variety of issues often resulting in depression, anxiety and psychosis. She is passionate about helping others embrace vulnerability and authenticity to find harmony and balance within themselves. Her belief is that to move forward one must accept where we are now. She strives to help others access inner wisdom and move forward with confidence and self acceptance.

Laura Herp is a graduate of Bellarmine University and the University of South Carolina. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Laura loves to hike, do yoga, make soups, garden, and laugh.
